Climb into the treetops at Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich, MA, where 5 trails and 7 ziplines wind through 60 challenge elements across 4 difficulty levels. Whether you’re brand new to climbing or already comfortable up high, there’s a trail built for your pace.

Every visit starts with a safety briefing and practice session, so you’ll feel confident before you take on your first crossing. From there, the adventure is self-guided: choose your trail, set your pace, and explore.

Our family’s recent visit to the Adventure Park far exceeded our expectations!   Our party had a wide range of ages (all beginners) but WOW did everyone have an amazing and challenging time. What is The Adventure Park at Heritage Museums & Gardens?

The Adventure Park is located on the property of Heritage Museums & Gardens in Sandwich, MA on Cape Cod. Our aerial ropes park consists of 60+ platforms installed in the trees and connected by various configurations of cable, wood, and rope to form bridges, ladders and zip lines. There are 5 trails in total for ages seven to adult, with challenge levels suitable for every age and skill level.

Is there an age or weight restriction to climb?

The minimum age to climb is 7 years old. The maximum weight permitted per person climbing is 265 pounds.

How does the safety system work?

All participants receive an instructional briefing before climbing and wear safety harnesses with clips that secure them to safety cables. The Adventure Park uses an always attached climbing system utilizing smart interlocking carabiners. This system virtually eliminates the potential of a climber becoming accidentally detached from a safety line while in the trees.
