What’s an Adventure Park?

A Unique Kind of Recreation
There’s nothing like a day at The Adventure Park. Experience “adventure in the trees” on your own or with friends, family, coworkers, and other special groups.
Adventure Parks are different from traditional ropes courses. Our parks consist of a selection of different “aerial trails” up in the trees of a forest. Climbers navigate from one tree platform to another, crossing challenge bridges of cable wood and rope, as well as zip lines. The trails are color-coded according to difficulty, ranging from introductory through advanced, so there is suitable challenge depending on a climber’s experience and abilities. Participants wear harnesses, which are secured to safety cables using the Park’s “always locked on” interlocking safety clip system.
Look Up
You’ll see a series of platforms in the trees connected by cable, wood, rope, and zip lines to form bridges. Each bridge will challenge your skills to get to the next platform. These bridges form “aerial trails” throughout the forest.
Relax
You don’t have to be an acrobat or an athlete to join the adventure! Choose from five different color-coded trails, ranging from beginner (easier and lower to the ground) to intermediate, to advanced (the most challenging).
Climb with Confidence
You will receive a complete safety orientation before your climb. Our double-connected, “always-locked-on” climbing system helps keep your climbing harness securely attached to the safety line at all times. The trails are intentionally designed for your self-discovery, making lessons unnecessary. However, we do have Park Monitors ready to assist climbers when needed.
Explore!
Once you experience the excitement and the feeling of accomplishment that comes from an adventure in the trees, you’ll want to do it again! The good news is that there is always more to explore, whether it be conquering the next level of trails or enjoying a magical night with our Glow in the Park events.
Climbers leave the Adventure Park exhilarated and can’t wait to tell friends and family about it.
Good for the public, good for the community, good for the environment.
