Make It Educational With Our Learning-Based Lesson Plans

Want to incorporate learning into your Nashville field trips? Good news: Group members can take part in our learning-based lesson plans.

Don’t worry, it’s education in a different way—there’s no trigonometry or classrooms—we simply combine the wonders of learning with a hands-on experience of our aerial challenges.

The lesson materials take ordinary concepts and apply them to the things you encounter while exploring the Park. Here are some of the lesson plans ideas you can take part in.

Adventures in STEM

STEM-based lessons in science, technology, engineering and math.

Maker Space

You’ll get the chance to build your own model park after learning about engineering and design. You’ll also refine your ideas with an in-person visit to the Nashville Park itself!

Social Emotional Learning

A Nashville field trip here at the Park promotes social emotional learning. Participants leave with better skills in managing their own self-awareness, self-management, interpersonal relationship-building and responsible decision-making.

Conservation

Looking for conservation-based field trips in Nashville, TN? Simply spending the day in our Park and being among nature can inspire you to make smarter and greener choices. It’s everyone’s duty to play our part in caring for the future.

Tips & Advice

  • Be quick! Our slots book up pretty fast—so make sure you book field trip tickets in advance. That way the group won’t miss out.
  • Supervise little adventurers. We’ll always have a Park monitor on hand, but we recommend a 10:1 child/adult ratio while you’re roaming the Park.
  • We’re an inclusive Park. Get in touch with our Group Sales Team for information on how we can support individuals with special needs. Everyone should have the chance to take on our challenges head-on.
  • Advise everyone to take one step at a time. Our trail courses are challenging but not scary. We have a variety of ropes courses color-coded according to difficulty, so everyone should choose the course they feel most comfortable with.
  • We provide the equipment. We do recommend bringing the day’s other essentials like water, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.
