What Is The Adventure Park at Heritage Museums & Gardens?

The Adventure Park is a self-guided, tree-to-tree climbing and ziplining adventure! The Park has five treetop trails, each containing a set of platforms connected by bridges, ziplines, ladders and other crossings. Start at one trail, and work your way through it by climbing, ziplining and walking!

The trails are color-coded by difficulty level like ski slopes, from yellow to double black diamond, so you can choose your own adventure. Start on the yellow (easier) trail to get familiar with the terrain, and then pick a harder trail as you get more comfortable. Or stay on the yellow trail—the choice is yours!

With approximately 60 treetop platforms, our trails are for people ages 7+ of all abilities and fitness levels. Since our trails are self-guided, there’s no pressure to achieve a certain pace. You’ll start with a safety briefing and practice session, so you’ll feel comfortable with the equipment. Then you get to pick your trail and go at your own pace.

Refuel and Recharge

After a few hours of ziplining and climbing your way through The Park, you’re bound to work up a thirst and an appetite! Kick back at one of The Park’s many picnic tables, and enjoy a well-deserved break with a cold drink or a snack. You’re welcome to bring your own non-alcoholic drinks and food (no glass bottles or barbeques, please) or head over to The Sandwich Pizza House nearby for a quick and delicious bite. Hydrate and refuel, and then head back for more!

Tips for Your Visit

To make the most out of your visit, here are some tips:
