Host a Party Around a Campfire You can make a campfire party extra special in so many ways. Invite your loved ones, provide a blanket or two and make some drinks (frothy hot chocolates are always a winner). There’s something therapeutic about sitting by an open fire. Toast some marshmallows, wrap up warm and sing some classic campfire songs. It’s all about creating a cozy atmosphere to sit back and watch the stars. If you’re looking for fun things to do on a Friday night and don’t want to host your own campfire party, you can join us at The Adventure Park for our Firepit Fridays. Extend your visit with us and unwind by our crackling campfire after your climb. Your feet will probably need the rest! Stargaze With the Best Equipment If you’re looking for fun things to do at night, how about stargazing? Choose a warm night with a clear sky and find a spot to camp for the evening. There’s something magical about being outside with nature once the stars are out. Having the best equipment makes late night stargazing activities far more fascinating too. So get yourself a pair of binoculars or a telescope if you want to see the constellations or passing satellites up close. 3. Enjoy a Night Hike Looking for spontaneous things to do on a Friday night when you’re bored and restless? Why not try a night hike? You can get the heart really pumping by taking your usual hiking trail once the sun goes down. Plus, an evening walk can help you relax and boost your mood at the end of a long day. Just make sure you bring the essentials with you: a light (preferably a headlamp), a backpack with including water and an energy snack) and an appropriate deterrent (sprays or alarms) if you live in an area with predators. You can also explore the paths around our parks during your nighttime visit. Even the non-climbing guests in your party will have access to our grounds. They’re more than welcome to freely explore our site free of charge while the rest of you enjoy your climb. 4. Make the Most of Our Last Call Tickets If you’re looking for fun things to do at night, how about visiting our parks in the last couple hours before we close? We make sure we’re open till late so all you night owls get a chance to climb too. Here at The Adventure Park, we’re big on helping you save money wherever possible. That’s why we have Last Call tickets. These are reduced-priced tickets with all the same capabilities as standard-priced ones for the last few hours before we close. They include two hours of climbing and a 30-minute orientation. 5. Visit Our Glow in the Park Events One of the most beautiful nighttime activities you can experience is right here at The Adventure Park: our extraordinary Glow in the Park events. Once dusk arrives and the sun begins to set, our adventure courses transform into a magical and musical spectacle. So what can you expect at our Glow in the Park nights? 2 hours of late-night climbing and ziplining along the various treetop trails (including 30 minutes for harnessing and a mandatory safety briefing). Safety LED lights to guide you along the treetop trails and direct you through the paths ahead.
